Janet Ruck, Trainer and Career Coach

Janet Ruck is a career consultant, author, and trainer with expertise in the federal executive and employee development. As a career consultant and trainer for several federal agencies, Janet has assisted employees with resumes, interviews, individual development planning, career transition, and retirement careers. She has successfully coached Senior Executive Service (SES) candidates in writing Executive Core Qualifications. Janet conducts communications and leadership training and held a position as an adjunct faculty member at a community college where she taught classes on resume writing (federal and private sector), interviewing, job search and business writing. Margaret Robinson, Career Coach

Margaret Robinson is a professional career counselor and trainer with a background of providing career counseling and training services to federal and state governments, educational institutions, and private industry facilities. Ms. Robinson is Past President of the National Employment Counseling Association, a Master Career Development Professional (MCDP), a Certified Myers-Briggs practitioner and a Nationally Certified Personnel Psychologist. Her specialties are career counseling and guidance, vocational assessment and workshop training presentations.

Michael (Mike) Manion, Leadership and Executive Trainer

Mike Manion has invested his work life in helping professionals become better leaders and communicators. Early in his career Mike taught Dale Carnegie Training and conducted national training programs for Oracle and Marriott. Later he led two CEO organizations in the Mid-Atlantic, Vistage and Convene, helping CEOs build and lead more valuable companies. Currently, Mike is a consultant and instructor with Vantage, a company that, among other things, runs the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Leadership Academy and trains Navy Seals on briefing and communications skills. Mike founded and leads Indestructible Leaders, an organization that helps leaders achieve victory in excruciatingly difficult situations through tools forged from Stoicism.

For fun, Mike and his oldest son Jake host Key Leaders, a podcast highlighting students at Francis Scott Key High School who demonstrate leadership in its many forms. Mike and his wife Heidi raise their family in Westminster. They also spend much of their time at Johns Hopkins Hospital, helping four of their kids fight a terminal illness and find victory and transformation in the battle.

William (Bill) King, Leadership and Supervisory Trainer

Bill King’s professional background includes four decades of design, delivery, evaluation, and management of specialized training in leadership and supervisory skills. Focusing on solving specific organizational problems through training interventions, his efforts have concentrated on improving communication within workgroups, enhancing team performance, resolving conflict, encouraging empowerment, and improving the effectiveness of specialized work teams. With a strong interest in experiential learning, Bill has developed expertise in designing simulations, group facilitation, and team building. Some of his principal clients have been the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Internal Revenue Service, U.S. Peace Corps, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Customs Service, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, and AMTRAK. Bill served in the U.S. Army as a Special Forces “A” Team commander in Germany and Vietnam.
