Butch Wardlaw is a professional consultant, facilitator, and trainer as well as President and Principal Owner of Vantage. Over the course of his career, Butch has focused his work toward a life-long goal of “helping others lead, communicate, organize, and perform more effectively.” He is an expert in leadership development; communications/interpersonal skills; public outreach; group process facilitation; and strategic planning. Butch’s career in the military and private practice spans more than 43 years.

Susan Schoenberg
Dir. of Operations and Leadership Coach
Susan runs the day-to-day operations of Vantage, overseeing all of Vantage’s contracts and the people supporting them. Susan ensures that each client receives excellent service and tailored solutions to support the needs of the organization and its employees. She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and has more than 20 years of experience leading large scale projects and geographically diverse teams with excellent results. Susan has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Organizational Leadership and Innovation, a second MS in Health Promotion Management, and is a graduate of the Leadership Coaching program at Georgetown University. She loves to learn and welcomes a good challenge, especially if it can make the world a better place.

Christopher Wardlaw
Dir. of Marketing, Managing Partner
Christopher is a multifaceted graphic designer offering a diverse
perspective to the creative marketing process. Christopher graduated from the University of Virginia School of Architecture before landing in the graphic design profession. As a freelancer, Christopher developed professional marketing campaigns for clients ranging from local start-ups to nationally-recognized artists and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Vantage, Christopher led the Art Department at DC-based political strategy firm Deliver Strategies. In his current role with Vantage, Christopher is tasked with increasing awareness around the services provided by Vantage, managing business development and advancing the Vantage brand into the rapidly changing industry of human capital and organization development.
Veronica Willig
Training & Project Manager
Veronica oversees all of Vantage’s training and is passionate about addressing the unique needs of clients through thoughtful and intentional services and resources. They have more than eight years of successful project management and volunteerism experience including two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala and two years managing state-wide and multi-state political and health campaigns.
Veronica also leverages her experience as a trainer, facilitator, and curriculum developer to design and deliver excellent products to a multitude of clients.
Kevin Stieper, CPA
Accountant
Kevin provides C.P.A. services to Vantage through his firm Kevin Stieper, CPA. He oversees and supports Vantage’s financial operations.
Wanda Alberts
Virtual Admin.
Wanda is a consummate Executive Assistant, Paralegal, and Business Manager, with over 20 years of experience. Wanda supervises Vantage procedures and systems to effectively manage staff, track projects, and create and maintain document management systems.
