Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Initiatives
As an organization, Vantage is committed to continuing to learn and apply the principles of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). In partnering with your organization, we incorporate mindfulness to combat internal and external biases, and we seek out partnership with individuals and organizations that value diverse perspectives and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are values that guide the work that our teams perform. Vantage holds and cultivates safe spaces for honest conversation about social (in)justice among colleagues, partners, and clients. We incorporate this honest dialogue into our regular work with one another and don’t pass or hold judgement. We listen and learn from organizations that are leaders in the DEI space. We support clients who seek our help creating anti-racist, equitable, and/or inclusive workplaces. These values orient our perspective on work and supply a roadmap for how Vantage can effectively help individuals and organizations.
For Vantage diversity, equity, and inclusion mean that we carefully think about the work that we do; we are conscientious of differences in race, sexual orientation, and gender identity; and that we practice self-reflection as an organization. We prioritize these values by forming teams with diversity of thought, identity, experience, disciplines, and perspectives.
We have shown a commitment to DEI through our previous work and the organizations with whom we have partnered. We have worked with the federal government, the public sector and have also worked with non-profit organizations. Our commitment goes beyond the work that we have taken on; each member of our team lives the values of DEI and strives towards a more just and equitable world and workplace.
Vantage will continue to push ourselves forward as an organization to meet the needs of our partners and collaborators. This requires us to center DEI in our partnerships, how we execute our work, and in our own project teams. DEI is one more tool that Vantage uses to help solve problems and provide consulting, training, and coaching solutions in the areas of leadership development, communication, and career development.
The Vantage team is enhanced by a diverse team of human resource specialists, including counselors, trainers, and organizational development specialists who have work experience in the national and international, private, federal, nonprofit, and academic sectors.
